7th Regiment Announces 2012 Drum Major

The 7th Regiment has proudly selected Jamil Jorge as their 2012 Drum Major. Entering his third year with the corps, Jamil marched his first two seasons in the tuba line. From Cranston, RI, Jamil is a 2009 graduate of Cranston High School East. Currently, he is enrolled in his junior year at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, where he majors in ethnomusicology, studies trombone under Victor Johnson, is a member of the music department’s student advisory board, plays music for dance classes, and participates in various ensembles.
