Connecticut Hurricanes Unveil New Corps Logo

| |

The Connecticut Hurricanes are pleased to introduce our new look for the 2012 season and beyond. Our new look combines our traditional icons into a new crisp, fresh logo that brings the Corps’ brand to a new and exciting level. The new logo was chosen from several entries presented by Hurricanes members and alumni, with ’08-’10 member Andrew “Scotty” Timosca submitting the winning design. Andrew is currently in his second year as a baritone player with The Cadets, and is a Graphic Design major at the University of New Haven. This new look adds to our rich heritage as the Corps enters its 81st consecutive year of operation.

In conjunction with the Hurricanes’ fresh image, the Corps is also undertaking a new Media Production campaign. With a major push to increase our social media and recruiting presence in the Drum Corps community, the Corps is introducing our new “Inside the Storm” video series that follows the Hurricanes during the 2012 season.

As part of our current recruiting push to fill our last spots in the Brass and Front Ensemble sections, we would like to invite all fans and prospective members to enjoy this season video trailer: http://youtu.be/E0hNvK0SJPo

If anyone is interested in marching with the Connecticut Hurricanes, please contact Vinny Cataudella at pr [at] cthurricanes [dot] org. The Corps’ next rehearsal is Sunday, March 25 at the Seymour Recreation Center in Seymour, CT.
