System Blue Educational Series Heads To Taiwan

System Blue Educational Series heads to Taiwan the week of February 25 through March 4 to present clinics and master classes to band students and music educators from across the island nation. System Blue Educational Events manager Patrick Seidling, Blue Devil staff members Kevin Ronan and Jesse Minor and Blue Devil’s manager Pete Emmons make this trip as guests of Taiwanese marching band educator Art Canon.

While in Taiwan, the System Blue team will work with the Singsin School Band, present master class presentations at a convention of music educators, and help promote the marching activity to various government agencies. Among many events scheduled during their visit, the Blue Devil staffers will meet with the Mayor of Toayuan State, a strong proponent of music education. The week concludes with the team attending the Northern Taiwan Marching Band Competition on March 4.
