My name is Chase Higgins, and I marched Colts from 2004 to 2006 on bass drum and cymbals. My time spent as a Colt had a huge impact on me, and it inspired me to team up with a few like-minded friends to create a non-profit organization called Biking for Baseball.

This summer, our team is biking across the country to raise awareness for the importance of positive mentoring relationships in childrens lives. Along the way, we are hosting a sports-centric youth event in each city to show people the importance of mentoring young people and to draw attention towards existing mentoring relationships within each city. In total, Biking for Baseball will be cycling 11,000 miles, and we will be attending baseball games in each major league baseball stadium where we will further promote our message to our countrys baseball fans. By the end of our trip, it will be the longest charity bike ride in the world.
