Cadets Supporter Rev. James Reilly Succumbs To Injuries

It is with great sorrow that The Cadets share the loss of one of our most enthusiastic supporters, Rev. James F. Reilly, who succumbed to injuries suffered following a fire at his Palisades Park rectory on March 1.

“’Father Jim’ as he was known to The Cadets family, was always one for a quick comment and a voice of support,” said George Hopkins, director of The Cadets. “He took great pleasure sharing what he called his ‘insights’ with the ‘Angels vs. Demons’ program last year. He will be missed by us all. On a personal level he was a great source of support. When things were tough or the voices of the world turned negative towards me, or The Cadets, Father always had the right thing to say. We are all richer for the time he spent here on earth and most sad that he has departed.”
