DCA Accepting Bids For 2014, 2015 World Championships

DCA Vice President Allen Buell announced this week that DCA will be accepting bids for the 2014, 2015 DCA World Championships. The DCA Championship presents not only a great time for drum corps fans and performers, but also is one of the largest conventions of its type each year.

With several thousand participants and many more fans, the DCA World Championship weekend offers an economic impact of 8 to 12 Million Dollars to the host area. Participants alone amount to nearly 6000 guaranteed room nights in hotels, putting the DCA Championship in the highest tier for visitors and convention business activity.

Bids are being accepted between April 1st and May 1st, 2012.
