Joan Ann Zielinski 1935-2012
The GLASSMEN Family lost a very special friend, volunteer, and longtime supporter; Joan Ann Zielinski passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Joan Ann Zielinski, age 76, was born on June 8, 1935 to Leo and Angela (Erdman) Zielinski, and was a lifelong resident of Toledo. Joan was a graduate of Calvin M. Woodward High School, Class of 1953, and was a talented athlete, playing every sport in school. Joan went on to coach track and gymnastics for the Polish Falcons. She began working at Toledo Edison at the age of 18 running the switchboard and retired in 1992 after 39 years as an Executive Secretary.
