Santa Clara Vanguard Hall Of Fame Established

What do Babe Ruth, Red Grange, Elvis Presley, and Hank Williams all have in common? They all were the first group of individuals to be inducted into their professions’ halls of fame—baseball, football, rock and roll and country music. Following in these legendary footsteps the Santa Clara Vanguard Alumni Association is very proud to announce the establishment of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps Hall of Fame, which inducted the corps’ well-known and revered former director, Gail R. Royer, as the first inductee on March 3, 2012 at the Annual Spaghetti/Birthday Dinner, while also initiating the celebration of the corps’ forty-fifth anniversary in the 2012 season.
