Santa Clara Vanguard Yamaha Brass Available For Purchase

In the interest of replacing the Vanguard and the Vanguard Cadet’s brass instruments with newest models of YAMAHA brass for the 2012 season, the corps is offering both sets of YAMAHA brass instruments used in the summer of 2011. More than 80% of these instruments were purchased in the past 18 months and have been cared for by the members as though they were their own personal horns. The instruments have been cleaned and polished almost daily during the recent summer up through DCI week, leading up to the World and Open competitions in August. To state that there might still be Lucas Oil Stadium “dust” on them would be an accurate assessment.
