Connecticut Hurricanes Announce “Club Thunder” Initiative

The Connecticut Hurricanes Drum & Bugle Corps is excited to announce our new alumni and fan giving campaign initiative. “Club Thunder” provides fans and alumni of the Hurricanes a chance to come together in support of the corps and its mission. The Corps’ goal is to raise $20,000 during the season to help complete urgent projects in immediate need of funding, including: new keyboard and auxiliary pit equipment, replacement and repair of the corps uniforms, repairs and updates to the equipment trucks, new brass instruments, and scholarships for our financially challenged members.

The Hurricanes invite you to join this select group of benefactors, and welcome any sized donation with incentives at various levels to show our appreciation to Club Thunder members. These incentives include a wide range of items, including: a subscription to our eNewsletter “Storm Tracker,” Club Thunder apparel, tickets to our Fan Preview show in June or Fanfare DCA show in August, recognition on our equipment truck, and even Box Seats to the 2012 DCA World Championships in Annapolis, MD.

Your contributions (less membership gifts) are tax deductible. Along with a receipt, you will receive a letter from the corps recognizing your gift to a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable organization.
