Gavin Named Blue Stars Corps Director

Dr. Russell Gavin has been named corps director for the Blue Stars, effective immediately. Dr. Gavin takes over the position from Howard Weinstein, who has made the decision to return to the real estate profession and his home in Florida. Weinstein and Gavin are working together with Executive Director Brad Furlano to ensure a smooth transition for the entire organization, and Weinstein will continue his association with the Blue Stars as a consultant and advisor.

“The entire Blue Stars organization is grateful to Howard for the time and effort he has put into the corps over the past four years,” said Furlano. “His dedication to the members’ success has been remarkable, and there is not a doubt in my mind he has made the Blue Stars a stronger, more stable, and more enjoyable organization for our members and supporters.”
