Beatrix Unveils Indoor Drumline

This year the Beatrix Association will participate with a new unit in the contests of Color Guard Nederland. Next winter Beatrix’ will not only be seen in the Winterguard World Class, but also in the Marching Open Class. Beatrix’ drumline goes indoor!

The idea to participate has been long held by a number of staff members in the percussion section. The group wants it, the staff wants it, and so nothing was in the way to make this idea reality. A group of staff members was put together and the ideas were presented to the board. Everyone was excited and last week the decision was made to definitely go ahead with the plans. Beatrix’ is proud to announce the start of an indoor drumline.

At this moment a lot of effort is being put into completing the staff team, creating the program and making a rehearsal schedule. But of course one thing is most important: there must be members.
