Cavaliers Statement On Staff Member Injury

On Friday, June 29, at Pendleton Heights High School in Pendleton, Ind., The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps’ management team made the decision to end rehearsal due to an intense and rapidly developing storm cell making its way into the area. While members, staff and volunteers were evacuating the rehearsal field, a sudden gust of wind compromised a scaffolding structure as two staff members were descending to take shelter.

One of those staff members, Jeremy Seneca, sustained multiple injuries, and he was transported to and treated at a local Indianapolis hospital. Seneca is being kept overnight for observation and is expected to make a full recovery.
