Former Championship Drum Corps To Hold Reunion

People who were involved with the Cadets of Greece Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps in the 1960’s through the 1980’s are invited to attend a reunion on Saturday, September 29 at Braddocks Bay Park Lodge in the town of Greece,New York from 1:00 to 9:30 PM. The event will include a catered buffet dinner and plenty of movies, pictures and memorabilia. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The Corps was founded in 1963 as the Shoreliners and later became the Greece Cadets before being renamed the Cadets of Greece in 1975. They competed in Class “A” and Open Class categories of drum corps circuits around the country and in Canada, scoring several big wins through the years, including winning the Class A Drum Corps International championship in 1975. The corps at times had up to 120 marching members, with extensive involvement by parents, families, volunteers, and instructors. All who were involved are invited to attend.
