In The News: Fourth Of July Parade First Show For Rockford Corps
A new junior drum and bugle corps based in Rockford will make its debut performance in the city’s Fourth of July parade.
Its name: Rockford Corps, chosen by Joe Marino, known as Mr. Fourth of July because he coordinates the city’s Independence Day activities. Marino also founded the group with James Simmons of Beloit, Wis.
