In The News: Hamilton’s Conquerors
It was the time of their lives. Or was it?
I’ve spent a couple of lunches with the guys from the Conqueror Drum & Bugle Corps, long defunct, who tore up the marching scene back in the first half of the 1960s. They meet upstairs at the Stoney Creek Legion, downtown King Street, and the laughter pours out into the halls, over beer and lasagna.
