Shenandoah Sound Brass Upgrade Fundraiser

| |

Do you see those horns?….We need to replace them!

Who we are: Shenandoah Sound is a competitive all-age drum & bugle corps from Northern Virginia. The corps exists to provide its membership with education and performance opportunities in the drum corps tradition of marching music. Shenandoah Sound is the only drum corps in Virginia and consists of members from Virginia and Maryland.

To see us in action and meet our members, cick here!

Why we need your help: We are in the process of upgrading our brass instruments. For many years, the corps has performed using old 2-valve G bugles. While we enjoy the bugles, the time has come for us to upgrade to a full line of King Bb Ultimate Marching Brass. The corps recently purchased some King horns, but we need your help to complete our line!

The most expensive brass horn is the contra (tuba). At over $2,500 each, these horns don’t come cheap! Your pledge will help us purchase two contras.

Everyone who helps us will receive special recognition on our website and Facebook page. In addition, everyone who contributes by July 5 will also get special recognition in our program book for our drum corps competition: “Sound of the South” on July 7.

All donors who contribute $150 or more can have their company/business logo placed on our website as an extra-special thank you!

Offical info: Shenandoah Sound is a non-profit 501[c]3 drum and bugle corps and affiliated Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 1196 based in Prince William County, Virginia and a member of Drum Corps Associates (DCA) South. Your financial contribution will help supply us with high-quality horns which will last us for years. We invite you to see your contribution in action this summer one of our competitions or parades.
