Boston Crusaders Return Home For 8/2 Performance

After completing a coast to coast journey, the Boston Crusaders are set to make their only New England area appearance of the 2012 season on Thursday, August 2. Following the corps’ historic, first-ever west coast tour, the Crusaders will return to the Boston area for a single performance at the East Coast Classic in Lawrence, MA, after a journey of over 9,000 miles.

The East Coast Classic, New England’s premiere drum and bugle corps competition, returns to the Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium this Thursday evening at 7:00 PM.

Headlining the event are the 10-time world champion The Cadets from Allentown, PA, seven-time world champion The Cavaliers, from Rosemont, IL, and the six-time world champion Santa Clara Vanguard from Santa Clara, CA.

For the seventh consecutive year the, new Lawrence stadium will stage a dazzling display of musical pageantry featuring six of the world’s finest drum corps participating in one of the last competitions of the 2012 Drum Corps International Summer Music Games tour.

Following this event, the corps will travel to Indianapolis, IN, as Marching Music’s Major League concludes the summer competition season at the DCI World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on August 13. A crowd of over 4,000 is expected to attend.
