In The News: Empire Statesmen Tops At ‘Music Under The Stars’
It was reportedly a pretty tight contest, but the Empire Statesmen of Rochester gave the top performance at Saturday’s “Music Under the Stars” Drum &?Bugle Corps Show at Maple City Park.
Maple City Sound committee member John Petrilli said Cadets 2 of Allentown, Pa., placed second in the show, Bushwackers of Princeton, N.J., placed third and Dansville’s White Sabers were fourth.?Petrilli said he didn’t have access to the point totals Sunday, but added, “I?believe they were rather close between the No. 2 and No. 1 spots.”
