In The News: Playing With The Edge

The Edge, the drum corps-inspired performance troupe that counts Batavia native Joey Pero among its creators, performed Saturday night at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort.

Members of The Edge performed inside the park’s Grand Theatre with the Empire Statesmen, a Rochester-based drum and bugle corps, and then outside the venue in a flash mob-style performance. A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a place to perform — often an usual or seemingly pointless act — for a brief time and then disperse. The gatherings are often intended for entertainment or artistic expression.
