In The News: Santa Clara Drum And Bugle Corps Practiced At OHS

Cadences of drums and bold brass fanfares echoed throughout Oregon on Sunday afternoon.

The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. from Santa Clara, Calif., stopped at Oregon High School on July 15 to practice for their performance in Rockford’s annual Show of Shows at Boylan High School later that night.

“It was amazing to see a dedicated group of people to be out for four and a half hours in the heat,” said Oregon High School band director Andy Eckardt.
