The Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps set off Friday night for its cross-country tour, to perform a dramatized take on Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

Paul LaFlamme, Spartans president, explained the annual Drum Corps International event just before boarding the bus.
