Tickets Available For 2012 Kiltie Klassic

Families are being welcomed with open arms at The Kiltie Klassic Drum and Bugle Corps Show on Sunday, August 5th. To encourage a family-friendly atmosphere and conduct a truly affordable event, the Kilties are allowing children 12 and under to attend the event for no charge, and are also providing a free hot dog and soda for each child admitted. Adult tickets are $17 for special reserved seating and $10 for general admission seating. The event will be held at 2 p.m. at Hammes Field at Case High School in Racine.

Tickets are available online at through July 29th and at local tickets outlets listed below through Saturday, August 4th. Any remaining tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the show; however, available tickets are not guaranteed.

The event is designed to provide education and entertainment for all ages. Appearing in concert and in field show performance will be Racine’s own Drum Corps Associate Finalist Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps. Also appearing in field show will be Drum Corps Associates Open Class Champion, Minnesota Brass, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN; the Drum Corps Associate A Class Champions, the Govenaires, of St. Peter, MN; and a corps traveling to Racine from Ohio, The Cincinnati Tradition.

The Kilties are an all-age co-educational drum and bugle corps focused on education, mentorship and performance excellence. The Kilties’ core values include character, honor, excellence and tradition. The Kilties participate in rehearsals and performances on a weekendonly schedule which allows members to attend school, work and spend time with family.
