In The News: Marching To Gold

The Oregon Crusaders’ dreams became reality on August 7th when they finished an undefeated year by winning gold at the Drum Corps International World Class Championships in Indianapolis. The drum and bugle corps had been reigning silver medalists in the last two years, so while this win is certainly an accomplishment, it also shows that the corps are true competitors. Working extremely hard to be able to perform their 2012 show, entitled “Dreaming in Color,” almost flawlessly, the corps performance earned the team a score of 95.25 points out of a possible 100.
