Crossmen Announce 2013 Brass Caption Head

Crossmen Program Coordinator, Ed Devlin, is proud to announce the return of Jason Buckingham as the brass caption head for the Crossmen. “Jason has done a great job in developing the brass program at Crossmen for the past two years and we are excited to see what he does in 2013.” stated Ed Devlin. Executive/Corps Director Fred Morrison exclaimed, “He continues to impress us with his ability to connect with the membership and lead them to success.”

Jason Buckingham is returning for his third season as the Brass Caption Head the for the Crossmen. He has worked with school music programs and youth organizations all over the US and the UK as a clinician and adjudicator and served on the music faculty of Lamar University (Beaumont, TX). Currently he is a brass specialist in San Antonio working primarily with Tejeda Middle School and Claudia Taylor Johnson High School. In 2008 Mr. Buckingham was selected as the Colorado representive School Band and Orchestra’s annual list of “50 Directors Who Make a Difference” while at Northglenn High School in Denver.
