Russell-Kline, Riley To Lead 2013 SCV Summer Color Guard

Vanguard is pleased to announce the appointment of SCV Alumna Danielle Russell-Kline as the Vanguard Summer Guard Coordinator/Lead Designer and Daniel Riley as summer guard Caption Manager. They will be supported by returning designers/choreographers Rick Subel, Jon Escalante, Joseph Powell and new-comer Tom Harrington.

Danielle Russell-Kline earned her Bachelors of Fine Art in Dance Performance from Cornish College of the Arts and a Masters of Fine Art in Education from the University of Washington. She is a Costume designer, seamstress, prop maker, airbrush artist and a choreographer, working with pageantry groups in the U.S. and Japan. Recently, she has helped create after school programs for The Boys and Girls Club of America, Kids Club and “At Risk” students in the greater Seattle area. She is currently a member of the Washington State Artists Guild and continues to cultivate the spirit of the artist in each student.
