Academy Announce 2013 Visual Staff

The Academy is pleased to announce the latest additions to the 2013 Visual Staff under the leadership of Caption Head Jason Bentley. Joining the visual faculty includes Felix Hernandez, James Lazaro, Matt Petterson, Brad Donoris, Nick Leavelle, Ameria Miller, and Mike Mendoza.

Jason Bentley, Visual Caption Head

Jason Bentley started teaching in 2000 with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2003 Jason began working with East Coast Jazz Drum & Bugle Corps who achieved two Visual Performance championships and a World Championship during that time. 2007 found Jason with the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps and helped their transition from the Open Class into World Class competition with a visual performance score strong enough to qualify for Semi-Finals in their first appearance. In 2010 Jason joined the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps as the visual caption head where he remained until the 2012 season.
