Mandarins Outstanding Member Of 2012
At the recent Mandarins Awards Banquet, corps members chose Corey Jones as their Outstanding Member of 2012. Recipients must know enough about the Mandarins and the drum corps activity to provide leadership, set good examples, demonstrate maturity, and encourage and maintain Esprit de Corps, among other tasks. Prior to his Drum Major role during his 2012 ageout season, Corey marched in the brass and percussion sections. We wish Corey well, as he takes to the Marines the lessons and skills he learned in the Mandarins.
