Mandarins Welcome Chris Nalls To 2013 Brass Staff

The Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps are pleased to announce Chris Nalls as the newest addition to the Mandarins educational staff. Chris is considered a master of the marching arts with many years of experience leading performing groups of all kinds. His show designs have won championships and the enthusiastic applause of audiences across the country. He has been the Director, Musical Director and soloist for the San Francisco Renegades, where he was also named 2003 Director of the Year. As a performer, instructor and executive board member, Chris Nalls has worked with the World Champion Concord Blue Devils and has instructed the Santa Clara Vanguard, Freelancers and Velvet Knights. He is currently the Director of Bands at Leigh High School and is a member of both the Blue Devils and Buglers Hall of Fame. “Chris brings to the Mandarins a wealth of drum corps and performing arts experience. He has worked with the top drum corps and bands in the nation and we are pleased to have him as part of the Mandarins team”, stated Dr. Dan Fong, Mandarins Brass Caption Head.
