Santa Clara Vanguard Announces 2013 Program
The world’s longest running musical will inspire drum corps audiences across the country this summer as Santa Clara Vanguard perform Les Misérables. Experienced by more than 80 million people since it began its London run in 1985, and its Broadway debut in 1987, Santa Clara will take the field to incite the passion and drama of Victor Hugo’s heroic story through their presentation.
From the musical’s production notes: “Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption—a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.”
