Academy Announces 2013 Colorguard Staff

The Academy is pleased to announce the complete Colorguard staff for 2013. Earlier, The Academy introduced Mykail Costner as the 2013 Color Guard Caption Head. Mykail brings a wealth of experience to this critical position within the corps educational and design team. Said Director Mark Richardson, “As you can imagine, this was a critical position to fill for our future guard members and entire team of drum corps members and staff. While interviewing the candidates for this position, I have taken the opportunity to speak with several band directors, corps directors, caption heads, and designers that Mykail has worked with in his rich history within the guard activity. It is clear that he possesses the skills to design, instruct, and inspire his students to become incredible human beings and performers through working hard and caring for one other – ideals that are important to me and this organization.”
