Troopers Announce 2013 Program

The American West has always represented a sense of beauty, grit and uncompromised passion seen in the wide open spaces that make up the region. The West was a place where battles were fought, towns were created and dreams were fulfilled. The imagery that makes up this time period continues to fill the imaginations of people today, wondering what life was like in the plains and unchartered territories of the American Frontier.

Founded in 1957 by the legendary Jim Jones, the Troopers have grown to represent this ‘Spirit of The West’ in both attitude and appeal. With a new contemporary uniform design that reflects America’s western military heritage with cues from the uniforms worn by the 11th Ohio Cavalry stationed in Casper, WY, Mr. Jones’s legacy will live on as the Long Blue Line will present a program that is unquestionably Troopers.
