Weinstein Joins Spirit Of Atlanta As Corps Advisor

Spirit of Atlanta is excited to announce the addition of DCI veteran educator and administrator Howard Weinstein to the senior administrative leadership team as Corps Advisor. “Mr. Weinstein’s expert knowledge and experience with all facets of the drum corps activity will bring a fresh perspective on everything we do from administration to show production and member education. We are delighted to welcome Howard to the Spirit family.” – Dr. Todd Snead, Executive Director.

Beginning his drum corps career in 1983 as a member then instructor of Suncoast Sound, Mr. Weinstein went on to become the Program Coordinator and Corps Director for the Boston Crusaders (1999-2007) and Corps Director for the Blue Stars (2009-2011). He also served multiple years on the DCI Board of Directors, being named Chairman in 2007. Mr. Weinstein has been a music educator for the past twenty-seven years and currently works with multiple college and high school programs throughout the country. He has served as a clinician, consultant, and adjudicator throughout the country for multiple circuits in the areas of symphonic, jazz, and marching ensembles.
