2013 Boston Crusaders New Color Guard Leadership

The Crusaders are pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffery Lamar Branson as lead designer and color guard program coordinator. A freelance artist, educator, and human resources professional, Lamar brings a diverse portfolio to the team for 2013. A former marching member of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps and WGI Independent World Finalist Crown Guard, Lamar has worked extensively with many Illinois and Indiana guard programs. Most recently, he spent 7 years with the renowned Marian Catholic High School fall and winter programs from 2005-2011.

Returning to the Crusaders for her sixth year is Sarah Cole, who will take on the role of caption manager in 2013. Sarah first came to the Crusaders in 2008, and has been a fixture with the color guard ever since. Focusing primarily on movement, Sarah originally hails from New York state, and was a fixture in the upstate guard world for year. Sarah spent the last two seasons working with Flanagan High School A Guard and other high school programs in South Florida and is now based in south Texas and building her own guard program.
