Blue Devils Seeking Summer Social Media Intern

We are seeking to hire an energetic and motivated individual to join our media team as a social media blogger and implementer this summer. We will provide you with all the tools necessary to complete shared goals, grow your skills and have fun in the process! You need to have good communication skills, a clear understanding of marketing/pr and social networking, a team player attitude and familiarity with the drum corps activity.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Editorial posts on Blue Devils social networks
Daily blogs on Mediabox
Member video/written interviews in coordination with media team.
Some photography
SKILLS REQUIRED

English language (written and spoken)
Must be reachable by Skype for voice calls
Familiarity with WordPress or other blogging sites
Experience or training in Marketing/Public Relations
Familiarity with modern design concepts
Up-to-date use and experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and other social networks.

You must be available for this position June 11-August 11. We will supply room and board in addition to airfare to get you out to Northern California and back home after tour. The position is unpaid.
