Ray Mar Inducted Into DCI Hall Of Fame

The Sacramento Mandarins are thrilled to announce that Executive Director Ray Mar was inducted into the Drum Corps International Hall Of Fame, Class of 2013. Ray and his wife Esther have been involved with the Mandarins and the drum corps community for thirty years. In 1983, the Mandarins were struggling to recruit both marching and staff members. Under Ray’s leadership, the corps returned to the competition field, winning eight Drum Corps International World Championship titles and two Spirit of Disney awards, recognizing outstanding achivement in educational and entertainment programs for youth.
