Ticket Sales For 2013 DCE Championships Start On May 15th

Ticket sales for the DCE European Championships will start on 15th of May from 9 pm CET (8 pm GMT). The overwhelming interest in the traditional start of the presale on the 1st of May caused the website to crash.

Drum Corps Europe regrets the error and has been working hard on the technology in order to give all music lovers a good and fair chance at a good seat. DCE always tries to keep everything running smoothly, but this year the website could not meet the overwhelming demand. “Very unpleasant for all the fans who had been preparing for and looking forward to the start of the presale,” said office manager Marco Janssen. “To offer everyone the same chance of getting a good seat, we were forced to decide to delay the start of the presale entirely. We now hope to virtually welcome hundreds of music lovers to Kerkrade on 15th May.”

It is not surprising that there is a lot of interest. All European top corps will be present again this year in the beautiful Parkstad Limburg Stadium. The Premier Class has eighteen participants. The Junior Class is also well-represented with six participants. The economic crisis is not passed on to you by DCE. Prices for the regular grandstand tickets have not been increased. So you can get a ticket for the main stand from as little as 15 euros!
