InsideSCV: Noe Gomez

At nineteen years old, Noe Gomez will be leading the 2013 Santa Clara Vanguard as the lead drum major. In his third year with the organization, Noe sits down with us to talk about his audition, what it’s like to be the SCV drum major, and his goals for the upcoming season.

Of all drum corps, what made you choose Santa Clara Vanguard?

I came to Vanguard after 2008, when I had my rookie year of drum corps, where I saw the Vanguard live for the first time. I was completely speechless after seeing them and I could not wait to audition for the organization.
