Mandarins Introduce New Uniforms
Continuing the surprises for it’s 50th Anniversary, the Mandarins debuted new uniforms this month. The purple and gold colors are striking, along with the red and golden dragon sash. The new uniforms are symbolic of past uniforms having Mandarin collars and frog buttons, worn during the Ye Wah Drum and Bugle Corps days. The golden dragon represents our 50th anniversary and our wildly-popular dragon t-shirt from the 1970s. We’ve redesigned this t-shirt to commemorate our 50th anniversary, and you can buy one here. Thanks to our partner Stanbury Uniforms, and our designers for producing our new generation of uniforms; we’ve received many compliments!
