2013 Crossmen Tour Blog Day 31

It was pretty funny this morning as with all the strategizing about getting the members to Olathe early in order to get them more floor time backfired a little. Lilly’s bus developed a pinhole coolant leak in her coach so after an hour at a Pilot they were able to get under way. With Marvin leading the charge in the Command Center, the small convoy passed the motorcoaches and van while they were taking care of the leak. When it was all said and done we arrived together by slightly different routes at 5:45 am. Overall we made great time even with the small mechanical glitch. The experiment failed in one respect and we will probably stay together all of the time as has historically been our m.o. unless we have a drive over 400 miles again. We will give that option another chance.
