2013 Crossmen Tour Blog Day 36

The convoy made the 300 mile trek down IH44 and IH35 from Broken Arrow according to plan. The facilities at our housing in Denton were pretty incredible in spite of all of the construction going on. The campus is huge and growing larger by the looks of all of the building.

You could feel the excitement from the members as the fact that they were close to home sank in. Crossmen are back in the Lone Star State! Maureen and Amy came over from Grapevine around lunch time. They spent the night at our son Erik’s apartment after driving up Wednesday afternoon from San Antonio. They took me to a local burger spot for lunch. It was nice to be able to spend some time visiting and eating a meal sitting down in a chair instead of my drum corps habit of eating standing up most meals.
