SCVonTour Blog: July 5 – July 7

After our Fourth of July free day in Aspen, we boarded the busses and began the trip east to Henderson, CO. We arrived at Prairie View High School with enough time for the members to jump off the busses and get in a few hours of sleep before waking up at 9:00AM. After a week of constantly being on the move and performing, Friday was a full day of rehearsal where we were able to focus on fine tuning our show. That night before snack, Brandt Crocker, the “Voice of DCI”, spoke to the members about the joint history of SCV and DCI. It was definitely an encouraging and inspiring way to end the day.
