SCVonTOUR Blog: June 27 – June 30

Last Thursday, we left their home state of California and began the northwestern leg of our 2013 competitive summer tour. The first stop was an exhibition performance in Medford, OR at the US Cellular Community Stadium. After a few days of rehearsal in Weed, CA to make adjustments, rewrites, and additions to the 2013 program, the corps was ready to get back on the field. Thursday also marked the debut of our props; 60 tall structures, stretched with scenes of a French city. These props line the backfield, providing a backdrop for our production of “Les Miserables.”
