Thurrock Marching Brass are proud to confirm Paul Grundy as Vice President of the organisation. Paul and his wife Jill have been involved in Marching Bands for over 35 years and were the successful leaders of the well known and respected Blue Ambassadors Drum & Bugle Corps. A Corps that many of the staff at TMB had the privilege to play a part in also including Chairman, Paul Morgan and Corps Director, Darren Crisp. Paul’s appointment serves to strengthen the organisations input and guidance where Paul will act as an important advisor and council to the board.

The presentations were made by Corps Director, Darren Crisp, with flowers presented to Jill Grundy by three of TMB re-launch first night members.

Speaking of the appointment Paul Grundy comments “I am delighted to be able to help this fast growing organisation in any way that I can, and to see the youngsters learning so quickly reminds me of my early days as a band master and chairman. I am never surprised at what young kids can achieve, but looking at the great team and support that TMB have, I am excited and confident that they will continue to go from strength to strength”

Welcoming in Paul as Vice Chairman, TMB Chairman, Paul Morgan says “The advice, guidance and support that both Paul and Jill have given me personally and the whole organisation has been immense. Having Paul as Vice President for us will mean that we will always have experienced and well rounded council when we need it to ensure that we are always heading in the right direction and for that, and for all that Paul and Jill have done in the background for everyone at TMB, I cannot thank them enough”
