Park City Pride is pleased and excited to announce the music program for 2014, “A Piece of Motown”. The corps has crafted a repertoire to bring the classic pop/soul of the Motor City to life while incorporating a traditional drum corps approach.

The music includes “Reach Out I’ll Be There”, “I Heard it Through the Grapevine”, a percussion feature of “Willie and the Hand Jive”, followed by R&B classics, “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”.

Introducing the set is Tower of Power’s soul/funk hit, “You’re Still a Young Man”. Also included are “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and “Goin’ Out of My Head”.

To round out the show, the colors are presented with “God Bless America” followed by The Pride’s signature piece, “I’ll Be Seeing You”.

This show is sure to be fun and entertaining for both audience and performers!

Rehearsals for all sections are held Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00pm at the Klein Memorial Auditorium, 910 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT.. Check the Website under Events for rehearsal and performance details. All sessions are open and visitors are welcome.
