Pioneer Gets Big Gift From Madison Scouts

| |

Because of the awesome generosity of the Madison Scouts Organization and its Executive Director, Mr. Chris Komnick, our Pioneer Corps is now the recipient of a food trailer!

Even though it is used and in need of some maintenance and minor repairs, all in all it is in great condition, larger than our food vehicle, and will serve our needs much better than what we have been using. It has a great refrigeration unit in it, lots of counter space and huge storage areas. It is even painted GREEN!

Our head cook, Mrs. Margo Bauer, is so excited about this that she has come down from Port Huron, Michigan and has already been putting many hours of cleaning, planning, and preparing for the use of this food trailer for our 2014 season!

It is wonderful that we have for many years had a very cordial relationship with the Madison Scouts. In the Spirit of DCM (Drum Corps Midwest) they do drum corps for all of the right reasons. As in Pioneer, their members are their primary focus.

You might say that caring and sharing are inherent attributes that make our two corps special.

On behalf of all the members, support and teaching staffs, and management, I would like to personally give a sincere thank you to Mr. Komnick and the Madison Scouts “brotherhood” with a huge amount of appreciation for their bighearted gift of a food semi-trailer to our Pioneer Corps Family.

With deep appreciation

Roman Blenski

Pioneer Corps Director
