Gold Announces Plans For 2014 Expanded Summer Tour

Gold Drum & Bugle Corps announced its plans to compete on a larger portion of DCI’s Open Class National Tour. Building on the success of Gold’s first two National Tours, the Corps’ tentative schedule includes an expanded Cross Country Tour that includes shows in Springfield IL, Minneapolis MN, Mason City Iowa, and a free day in Chicago, IL.

Gold’s Executive Director Don Flaherty is excited about the decision. “Like most Drum Corps, the organization has evolved as it has grown. Every year we seem to get a higher and higher talent level, so every year we try to up our game from an educational, performance & management standpoint”.
