Kilties Announce 2014 Guard Staff

Beth Myers, Guard Designer/Guard Caption Head

Beth is returning for the second year as the guard caption head and guard designer for the Kilties. Beth began marching guard at the age of nine and has over three decades of marching arts experience as a member and instructor. Her marching experience includes the Guardsmen Drum and Bugle Corps, National Champion James B. Conant High School Band and the Kilties. She has over a decade of instructional experience in winter guard and field performance color guard arenas including, most recently, Fond du Lac Winter Guard, West Bend High School Color Guard and the Kilties. She also has served as clinician and currently serves on the board of the Midwest Color Guard Circuit. As a brass musician, Beth incorporates musicality into her work, often writing guard work equally from the musical score and recordings.
