The Racine Scouts are pleased to announce that the corps will be holding an audition weekend in Texas, January 3-5, 2014, at Liberty High School in Liberty, TX – located just northeast of Houston. All prospective members in every section, as well as folks interested in getting more information on the corps, are invited to attend. Registration for the camp will begin at 5:00pm on Friday, with camp beginning at 7:00pm; concluding on Sunday at 12:00pm.

“This is a great opportunity to recruit some of the great talent in a part of Texas not usually focused on,” said Racine Program and Staff Coordinator, Bill Clark. “When we were approached with the offer to have an audition camp at Liberty High School, I was more than excited to say yes.”

Auditions will be held for all sections over the 2½ days. To register for the camp, or for more information, go to the Racine Scouts website: www.racinescouts.com; email Bill Clark, Program and Staff Coordinator: mr [dot] bill [at] racinescouts [dot] com, or Bob Smith, Liberty High School Band Director: rcsmith [at] libertyisd [dot] net.

As America’s oldest active drum & bugle corps since 1927, the Racine Scouts are a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating youth in fine arts while providing a place where they can grow as performers, and develop as young men & women.
