City Sound Announces 2014 Drum Major

Gilbert is the Drum Major of Burbank High School’s marching band, and has played baritone sax, trombone, tuba/sousaphone, bass guitar, snare drum, and percussion at BHS’s Marching Band, Symphony, and Jazz Band, as well as guitar in some rock bands. He’s also been an active member of the World Drum Majors’ Association and is currently competing in Open Class conducting and mace division. He has also been studying under UCLA’s current Drum Major Matt Visk and multi-world championship Drum Major Jason Paguio. Gilbert joined City Sound last year and marched bass drum.
